Job description

Job Title: Network Engineer (Low-Latency)

Join INOVERSE GROUPE as a Network Engineer (Low-Latency) and work on cutting-edge data centre technologies. This is a contract role based in London, offering a day rate of £500 to £600 Inside IR35.

Role Details:

• Location: London (4 days/week)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months initially

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and support high-performance, highly available network solutions in global trading environments, focusing on low-latency network design, colocation infrastructure, and automation.

Requirements:

• CCNP or equivalent expertise
• Strong routing knowledge, especially BGP
• Experience with Cisco IOS-XR, Cisco NX-OS, and/or Arista EOS
• Proven experience in low latency network deployment and financial trading environments
• Knowledge of WAN technologies, optical networking, and fiber optics
• Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Python, Jinja2, Git, Terraform, Jenkins)
• Experience with network monitoring, migration, and handover
• Skills in multicast, Layer 1 MUX switching, packet tapping, timestamping, and network security principles
