About the role

Aruba, Cisco IOS – Contract – Leeds – Outside IR35

We’re looking for a Network Engineer who has experience with Aruba and/or Cisco IOS. You’ll need to have supported large LAN/WAN data environments as well as large telephony comms environments. The environment also consists of some Azure services such as Hyper-V and vNETS.

There is an urgent need for a Network Engineer on a Contract basis for a 6-9 month piece of work. The role is hybrid and you’ll need to be on-site in Leeds 1-2 days per week. The role will require you to travel to other sites within West Yorkshire too.

You must have prior experience configuring Cisco routers and firewalls and ideally have configured Aruba switches. You’ll also have the ability to support both analogue and IP telephony systems. Alongside strong networking skills, you must also be adept at supporting and maintaining Hyper-V (in Azure) and have strong knowledge of cyber security products from FortiNet.

The environment is large and follows IT Service Management processes so being able to work to these is essential and ideally, you’ll have used a service management tool daily.

Your Key Skills:
– Provided Third Line Support in a large, busy environment
– Experience with Aruba and Cisco IOS
– LAN/WAN data and telephony networking
– Microsoft O/S
– Windows Server 2016+
– MS Azure (Hyper-V, vNets)
– Cyber security experience (ideally with FortiNet)
– Liaise with third-party suppliers
– Able to drive to other locations within West Yorkshire
