Job summary

LA International in Corsham is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to build and maintain secure network infrastructure supporting critical services. The role is ideal for someone moving from 3rd Line to 4th Line engineering, with legacy infrastructure training provided.

You will interpret LLDs and build guides, configure routers and switches, and work with security teams to ensure robust, compliant networks. Eligible candidates should hold DV clearance or be eligible to obtain it.

Qualifications

• 3rd Line network support with desire to progress to 4th Line.
• Experience with Juniper networking; strong Cisco experience also considered.
• Good knowledge of routing, switching, MPLS, and BGP.
• Experience supporting enterprise network firewalls.
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and fault-find network devices.
• Experience interpreting LLDs, Build Guides, and Work Instructions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of hardware encryption technologies; training provided where required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ex-Military Signals experience advantageous.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, interpreting technical documentation and delivering secure network infrastructure that supports critical operational services.

The position is ideal for an experienced 3rd Line Network Engineer looking to step into a 4th Line engineering role. Legacy infrastructure training will be provided where required.
