Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in the United Kingdom to support enterprise networks and IT infrastructure. You will design, implement and troubleshoot complex networks and lead technical discussions with customers, owning projects and delivering reliable security-focused solutions.

The role requires DV clearance and hands-on expertise in modern data centre networking, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6, and high-availability architectures.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Expert-level routing and switching knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
• Must already hold a DV clearance.

Currently entering a period of business change and expansion, this specialist employer is looking to add to its team with the appointment of a DV cleared Network Engineer.

You are an experienced Senior Network Engineer with a passion for solving complex networking challenges. You enjoy working directly with customers, are comfortable taking ownership of projects, and have the confidence to lead technical discussions and provide expert guidance. You thrive in environments where reliability, security, and attention to detail are paramount, and you enjoy working with modern data centre networking technologies as well as traditional enterprise infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have experience with the following:
