Job Summary:

This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting complex technical solutions, focusing on network and systems infrastructure. The position requires deep technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with various teams to ensure system availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Manage and support network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), including lifecycle management, upgrades, and incident response.
  • Oversee critical changes and ensure infrastructure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Support teams.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and security.
  • Align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Coordinate upgrades with vendors and internal teams.

Must have:

  • Strong Palo Alto experience, including Prisma Access / Prisma Cloud solutions
  • Expertise in BGP – hands-on experience with design, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong routing and switching skills
  • VXLAN & EVPN experience (or SDN alternatives like Cisco ACI or VMware NSX)
  • Knowledge of IPSEC, DHCP, DNS
  • Solid experience with Juniper switches and routers (Cisco acceptable for strong candidates)
  • Experience with load balancing – HAProxy preferred; F5, A10, Kemp are also suitable

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to Kentik, Netbox, or Portnox
  • Scripting and familiarity with tools such as Git, VS Code, Docker, Terraform
