Job summary

Fuse Energy, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to own and optimize the networks, infrastructure and workplace technology that keep our operations running fast and reliably across multiple offices. You will design, secure and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi and VPN, while troubleshooting complex issues end to end.

Collaborating with Engineering and Security, you will drive uptime, device management and secure access, supported by a biannual bonus, private health coverage and fully expensed tech.

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting across networks, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, endpoints, hardware and workplace technology.
• Experience administering Cisco LAN/WAN and FortiGate firewalls.
• Experience providing 2nd/3rd-line IT support across multiple sites.
• Ability to own infrastructure end to end including connectivity and monitoring.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration fundamentals.
• Clear communication and calm, pragmatic incident support.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced 2nd/3rd-line IT and infrastructure support across Fuse's offices, acting as the escalation point for complex issues.
• Troubleshoot issues end to end across networks, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, laptops, meeting-room AV, printers and internal systems.
• Design, administer, secure and improve LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall and internet connectivity, including Cisco networking infrastructure and FortiGate firewalls.
• Own office hardware, workplace technology and on-site infrastructure, including small build/server environments.
• Improve onboarding, offboarding, device management, identity and access management.
• Work with Engineering and Security on network segmentation, firewall policy, remote access and security hygiene.
• Build monitoring, alerting and documentation to keep business-critical internal systems available and prevent repeat issues.
