About Us

We are the UK network service provider making digital infrastructure simple.

Our infrastructure includes over 6000 mast sites, 2000+ connected buildings, and support for 200+ outdoor networks. Our managed sites feature some of the UK's most challenging wireless environments, including railway stations, Canary Wharf, City of London, and major events like the London Olympics.

The Role

We seek a Contract Network Engineer for approximately 3 months to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and commissioning networking infrastructure that supports our services. You will also work closely with partners and act as a key expert in networking for new products and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Implement design solutions, create standard processes for systems, and configure routers, switches, RAN, and monitoring systems.
  • Support the deployment of new sites through detailed implementation, testing, validation, and documentation of network components.
  • Troubleshoot issues during testing and drive resolution.
  • Evaluate new technologies, build and execute test plans, and perform integration testing of network elements.
  • Support network automation through basic programming and scripting to enable scaling and reduce reliance on manual processes.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Practical knowledge of packet protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, UDP, etc.), switching, and routing.
  • Experience configuring and managing IPsec VPNs, including site-to-site and remote access solutions.
  • Proficiency with Juniper, Cisco (including Nexus), MikroTik, and FortiGate devices.
  • Understanding of modern router architecture, LAN switching, and network design.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools like Tcpdump, Wireshark, NMAP, and Netflow.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as OpenNMS or similar.
  • Exposure to network automation with Python and management via CLI, SNMP, NETCONF.
  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification is required.
