Job Description:

Are you a well-educated networking technologist? You could be joining a leading quantitative trading firm, progressing your career, and earning significant bonuses.

As a Network Engineer, you will help build and scale the network ahead of business demands, whilst driving more standardisation using automation. Typical responsibilities include working on new data centres and colocation facilities, WAN routing optimisation, collaborating with stakeholders to identify requirements and network features, supporting network operations, and automating network design to reduce outages and facilitate rapid issue resolution.

You will receive training and mentoring to deepen your knowledge of financial markets and technology, utilizing modern tools and automation.

Location:

Based in the City with fantastic office facilities, working in a flat-structured, open company environment. Flexibility to work from home one day a week is also available.

About you:

• You have achieved a 2.1 or above from a top-tier university (Russell Group, Oxbridge) in a relevant discipline, preferably Computer Science.
• You have experience with routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM).
• You have demonstrable experience or research in network automation and related tools.
• You actively research technology, attend conferences, read blogs, and are enthusiastic about learning.
• You have experience or a strong interest in financial services, banking, or trading, and are eager to develop your career in this sector.
