At Aspire Technology Solutions, they look for dynamic individuals who want to work for one of the fastest growing IT and Cyber Security providers in the UK. It is an exciting time to join them on their journey as we grow and expand! This is an exciting Level 4 Apprenticeship opportunity where you’ll work towards a CompTIA Network Engineer qualification, gaining hands-on experience and rotating across both the Network Services and Network Support teams every three months.

In their Network Services team, you'll support the technical deployment of cutting-edge ISP solutions and work within our dedicated lab environment. In Network Support, you'll build essential skills troubleshooting real-world connectivity and network issues. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll be mentored by experienced engineers and supported by their in-house training programmes to kick-start a future-proof career in networking.

This apprenticeship is the first step towards a rewarding IT career, with pathways into roles such as Network Service Engineer or Network Support Engineer, and opportunities to achieve certifications like Cisco CCNA.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 4 Network Engineer Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Delivering customer connectivity solutions on time
  • Building router configurations based on provided specs
  • Troubleshooting WAN/LAN incidents and diagnosing faults
  • Working with customers and carriers to meet agreed SLAs
  • Supporting engineers and consultants on technical projects
  • Visiting data centres or POPs when required
  • Assisting with “bring live” appointments and solutions
  • Collaborating with internal technical teams

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • A basic understanding of IT and networking concepts
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Solid time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English at GCSE is required for this role
