You'll be a key player in designing, maintaining, and evolving our network infrastructure - including SD-WAN and Cisco Meraki environments - to ensure high performance, security, and availability across our national footprint. Responsibilities
About the role:
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN networks using technologies such as Cisco Meraki.
- Administer network infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimise network performance using tools such as SolarWinds and Meraki Dashboard.
- Apply network security best practices, supporting IDS/IPS, NAC, VPNs, and secure remote access.
- Commission and support network infrastructure that integrates with Microsoft Teams telephony and VoIP services.
- Automate routine network tasks and configurations using scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Lead or support technical projects, including office setups, network refreshes, and new service implementations.
- Guide and instruct regional "remote hands" engineers to perform physical installs, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Act as a key escalation point for major incidents, providing prompt and thorough technical resolution.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on networking best practices.
About you:
- Demonstrable success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and WWAN design and deployment in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience with Cisco Meraki and HP networking equipment.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security technologies, including IDS/IPS, 802.1x, and Wireless 802.11 standards.
- Experience using network monitoring tools.
- Experience working with enterprise firewalls and security appliances.
- Familiarity with VoIP platforms and Microsoft Teams telephony integration.
- Experience collaborating with third-party suppliers, service providers, and support vendors.
- Exposure to automation scripting for network and infrastructure tasks.
- Experience managing or supporting technical projects, including stakeholder engagement and planning.
- Practical experience working with and guiding remote hands / on-site engineers to complete physical tasks with clarity and precision.
- Relevant networking certifications (CCNP Enterprise, CompTIA Network+ or Security+, JNCIA, MS Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate)

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
