Job Description: Site Survey Engineer

Date Required: 12th and 13th May

Location: Manchester, UK

Scope of Work
  • Technicians should have site/data center knowledge or relevant certifications to handle network tasks and wireless Access Point installation at height.
  • Technicians must have basic network knowledge to support remote resolver groups or to handle detailed service requests as described in the scope.
  • Technicians should consider the following when visiting site/data center/network rooms:
Requirements for Site Survey Engineer
  1. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in conducting physical and active wireless surveys, including report preparation.
  2. Must carry a personal laptop equipped with survey tools.
  3. Proficiency in English and the local language of the respective country.
  4. Necessary health and safety certifications applicable in the respective country.
  5. Appropriate safety gear such as helmet, goggles, safety shoes, and reflective jacket, as required.
  6. License to work at heights, compliant with local legal requirements.
  7. Must carry a hotspot or mobile device with data plan for remote access, not relying on client internet.
  8. Experience in identifying and installing passive cables and SFPs.
  9. Knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting (L1) is an advantage.
