As a Network Engineer, you will join our team supporting QinetiQ and MOD customers. You'll work in an ITIL-based environment supporting multiple projects across different layers, delivering technical outputs that ensure secure, efficient transfer of data and the delivery of key communications and network systems.
Day-to-day, you'll work closely with project managers and technical leads to deliver quality outputs, assist with system implementations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, develop processes, and support the team by sharing knowledge, providing practical solutions, and help maintain high standards.

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Portsmouth site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week. Portsmouth Technology Park (PTP) is one of QinetiQ's key facilities, focusing on advanced technology development and engineering services. It is dedicated to research and development, ensuring that complex systems are designed, integrated, and tested effectively to meet operational requirements. The facility utilises sophisticated modelling and simulation techniques to analyse and predict performance.
