A leading water and wastewater company is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team. This field-based role will involve overseeing contractors, resolving sewer network issues, and liaising with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be proactive in problem-solving. A full UK driving license is essential. We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join our team at Thames Water.
This role will be field-based, and you will be expected to work and travel within the Thames Valley area, van, tools and PPE provided.
You will be overseeing our contractors and ensuring they are working safely and efficiently. Working alongside them to resolve defects on our sewer network.
This role provides an interesting working environment as no day or job is the same.
You will be required to liaise with the environment agency, councils, and customers.
This role will suit someone self-motivated, has strong interpersonal skills, and enjoys the responsibility of making quick, accurate assessments and decisions whilst on site.
Due to the nature of this role and the area you will be covering, you can be based, at several Sewage Treatment works sites depending on your location.
