Job description

Our corporate activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Network Engineer to join our Central London IT Infrastructure team supporting local and remote office WAN and LAN environments. Hybrid working is available after 6 months in role. Responsibilities
  1. Cisco switching, routing and firewalls;
  2. Cisco Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Contact Center, and Unity;
  3. Cisco Meraki;
  4. Check Point firewalls;
  5. SDWAN from Silver Peak;
  6. Solarwinds network monitoring tools;
  7. Establish and maintain network performance;
  8. Build network configurations and connections;
  9. Troubleshoot network problems;
  10. Define, document, and enforce system standards;
  11. Maximize performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades;
  12. Update network equipment;
  13. Collaborate with network architects on network optimization;
  14. Maintain and coordinate installation of network links.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field;
  2. Cisco CCNA or CCNP is desired;
  3. Desire to learn and grow, with a solid foundation of experience;
  4. Problem-solving and analytical skills;
  5. Strong documentation skills;
  6. Time management skills;
  7. Aptitude to manage many different devices, applications, and priorities effectively;
  8. Ability to communicate effectively with peers, end users, and management.
