• Solid understanding of traditional network monitoring systems: Zabbix, LibreNMS, SNMP.
• Extensive experience with network automation and automation tools: Netbox, Ansible, Jinja, Python, Git, NETCONF, RESTCONF, Temporal, Terraform.
• Knowledge and experience managing network infrastructure in public clouds (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Develop capabilities to manage the network at scale through automation and comprehensive monitoring and alerting.
• Design, implement and maintain a multi-vendor global trading network.
• Work closely with technology and investment teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions that align with business needs.

This technical role requires advanced engineering experience in implementing, automating and monitoring a highly available global network infrastructure. The hire will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of networking technologies providing leading edge solutions to the firm. The candidate will embody a mindset of continuous learning and process improvement. A basic understanding of financial markets and trade lifecycles is a plus.

As a Network Engineer at BAM, you will:
