Scope of work- Technicians should have either site/data center knowledge or certifications to handle network tasks and wireless Access Point installation at height.
- These technicians must have basic network knowledge to work as a local support instance for remote resolver groups or to work on detailed described service request mentioned under scope section.
- Technician should take care of below things while visiting site/data center/network rooms:
Requirements for Site Survey Engineer:- Should have at least 3-4 years of experience in conducting physical and active wireless surveys, and also preparing reports.
- Should carry his own laptop with survey tool.
- Should be proficient in English and local language in respective countries.
- Should have necessary health and safety certifications applicable in respective countries.
- Should have safety gears based on requirement (Helmet, Goggles, Safety Shoes, reflective jacket etc.)
- Should have license to work at heights based on local legal requirements.
- Should carry hotspot or mobile with data pack and will not depend on internet from client to provide remote access.
- Should have experience in identifying and installation of various type of passive cables and SFPs.
- L1 knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
