IT Network Engineer - Glasgow - Inside IR35 - Remote

Harvey Nash's FS Client are hiring an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Configuration and maintenance of routing, switching and security devices within the enterprise campus and Data Centre environments.
Support the delivery of continual improvement initiatives to demonstrably reduce risk and increase performance, efficiency and productivity.
Working collaboratively with other colleagues and contribute towards technical decision making, to deliver results and identify ways to improve performance and effectiveness.
Lifecycle management for all network devices including upgrades, capacity management and succession planning.
Liaising with project management team, 3rd line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
Support delivery of Network/Voice solution design documents.
Technical support for complex problems and sharing of specialist experience.
Using knowledge of network design principles to develop advanced switching and routing, security, Data Centre, architectures with VPN and wireless domains.
Skills & Experience Required
Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to demonstrate significant network and voice experience.
Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing & Switching) or equivalent level of experience.
Experienced with firewalls especially working with Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper or Palo Alto.
Strong technical expertise with Cisco devices, including ACI.
Financial Industry knowledge
Network Security
Detailed knowledge in TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and network monitoring tools
Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and services
Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite (MSP, PowerPoint etc.) and ServiceNow
