Job summary

Intec Select Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a major datacentre migration and network transformation programme on an initial 3-month rolling contract.

You will design, implement and migrate complex enterprise network infrastructure focusing on Cisco ACI, Fortinet FortiGate, and F5 load balancers, with hands-on delivery across hybrid environments.

The position is hybrid in London with day rate £450-£500 and contract length 3 months rolling.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale datacentre migrations.
• Hands-on Cisco ACI configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewall configurations.
• F5 LTM load balancing experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and migrate enterprise network infrastructure across datacentre environments.
• Lead datacentre migration activities with minimal business disruption.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabrics and policies.
• Implement Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and F5 load balancers.
• Produce network designs and technical documentation.

Overview

Role&Responsibilities

EssentialSkills&Experience

• Provenexperiencedeliveringlarge-scaledatacentremigrationsandenterprisenetworktransformationprojects.
• Stronghands‑onCiscoACIexperience,includingfabricconfiguration,policymanagement,EPGsandtroubleshooting.
• StrongFortinetFortiGateexperience,includingfirewallconfiguration,securitypolicies,routing,NATandVPNs.
• Hands‑onF5LTMexperience,includingloadbalancing,virtualservers,poolsandapplicationtrafficmanagement.
• Strongunderstandingofdatacentrenetworkarchitecture,connectivityandinfrastructuremigrationmethodologies.
• ExcellentknowledgeofroutingandswitchingtechnologiesincludingBGP,OSPF,VLANs,NATandIPSecVPNs.
