The Emergency Services Network (ESN) is a significant strategic priority for BT. It aims to be one of the most advanced Emergency Services Networks globally. BT is the official supplier providing mission-critical and trusted communications for Britain’s Emergency Services. ESN will replace the Airwave network, leveraging EE’s 4G network to deliver essential voice, data, and critical communication services to 300,000 frontline emergency personnel.
Providing consistent data on the Radio Access Network (RAN) capability is crucial for our customers, including BT, PlusNet, EE, and the Emergency Service Network. You will be responsible for designing and delivering the radio vendor OSS, including layer 3 trace management and geolocation systems that support network automation, analytics, and reporting across vendor technologies. Your work will directly impact Nokia, Ericsson, and Cisco Network Element Manager OSS design for O&M, data feeds, RAN tools enhancements, and high-level OSS solutions focusing on customer experience.
Successful candidates will be cleared to BPSS (or equivalent) minimum, with possible requirement for National Security Vetting (e.g., CTC, SC, or NPPV).
