Job Description:

What you’ll be doing

  • You will be working with the RAN OSS design authorities to develop design and automation capabilities for the RAN Element Managers and Trace Management tools that support the ESN contract.
  • Using your coding skills and developing radio/network knowledge, to ensure the vendor OSS platform designs support the demands of the radio and transmission technologies.
  • Engaging with technical and non-technical business users to propose solution strategies for predicting, planning, and visualising RAN data.

What we would like to see on your CV

  • Excellent at writing software code in Python and experience in Unix/Linux scripting skills (including BASH, PERL). Ability to understand radio network infrastructure data, data formats/protocols, or northbound interfaces.
  • Awareness of Mobile Radio Network & OSS architectures, design, and operational processes.
  • Experience in OSS design, especially in Network Element Management platforms (e.g., Nokia MantaRay NM, Ericsson ENM, Cisco EPNM OSS), Trace Management, and Geolocation tools.
  • Knowledge of IP Networks, virtual machines, and cloud hosting solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure is desirable.
