Job summary

GSK, a global biopharma company, seeks a Finance professional to manage Network & Connectivity financials. You will own the budget, forecast, actuals and cost transparency for the technology function, aligning with central standards and providing leadership with a clear spend view and financial risk.

You will run day-to-day financial operations, support month-end close, and collaborate with procurement and contract owners to govern supplier spend, renewals and investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Masters in Finance, Business, Accounting, Technology Management, or equivalent.
• Professionally qualified accountant (or qualified by experience).
• Significant experience in finance supporting a technology platform, domain or infrastructure function
• Owning budgets, forecasts, actuals and cost transparency for a technology function, domain or business unit.
• Running day-to-day financial operations - accruals, purchase orders, invoices and period-end close - against a fixed finance calendar.

Responsibilities

• Provide the financial view of network and connectivity services, including carrier, circuit and managed-connectivity commercials.
• Track hardware, software and license investment across the network estate, and connectivity unit cost.
• Support financial cases for network transformation and lifecycle investment, including the cost of not investing.
