Job description

Job Description: Field Compliance Supervisor

Telent is looking for three Field Compliance Supervisors to join the Network Services Infrastructure team. This role involves working on the OSA (Openreach Services Agreement) framework contract, primarily in London and the Inner M25 region. Candidates must hold a full UK driving license and be based in or able to travel within the Inner M25 region. Attendance at Telent offices may be required.

The Field Compliance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of OSA framework obligations within their designated area, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, managing real-time issues, and maintaining program standards, KPIs, and SLAs.

The role includes supporting contractor teams to meet safety, compliance, and quality standards, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to regulations. You will act as a Telent ambassador in the field, facilitating work scheduling and resolving access issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting contractual delivery.
  2. Developing and improving compliance policies.
  3. Monitoring supplier activities and ensuring safety and quality standards.
  4. Building relationships with authorities and managing street works compliance.
  5. Resolving access issues and managing permissions.
  6. Attending site meetings and supporting defect resolution.
  7. Conducting compliance audits and overseeing site safety standards.
  8. Training and onboarding operatives.
  9. Collaborating with suppliers on escalated issues and temporary works.

Ideal candidate profile:

Experienced in overseeing civils, pole, or cable gangs, with strong safety and compliance skills. Certified with NRSWA Supervisor Level and SA001A is essential. Knowledge of cabling, environmental legislation, and survey assessments is desirable. A full UK driving license and IOSH Managing Safely certification are required, with further certifications preferred.
