Job summary

Intec Select in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Network Automation Test Engineer to validate networking products and services, develop automated test solutions, and integrate test automation into CI/CD environments.

You will design and execute test plans for networking platforms, write Robot Framework and Python scripts, and collaborate with Development, DevOps and Infrastructure teams to deliver quality releases.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing of networking products and services
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python
• Experience with test planning, execution and reporting
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases for networking applications and platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
• Validate network protocols, configurations and end-to-end connectivity.
• Integrate automated test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, system, integration and performance testing.
• Analyse test results and troubleshoot failures.
• Work closely with Development, DevOps and Infrastructure teams.
• Support automated testing across release and deployment cycles.
• Produce test reports, defect analysis and quality metrics.
• Contribute to test framework improvements and automation best practices.
