The Role:
As a WAN Network Architect, you’ll serve as the technical leader, guiding projects from conception to completion. You will design and document network architectures that exceed customer expectations, while also engaging in hands-on configuration and implementation to ensure seamless transitions to service.
Your responsibilities include proposing and designing network solutions using advanced technologies from companies like Cisco and Juniper. You'll create architecture documents, high-level designs, and detailed configurations, and lead governance reviews for a smooth handover. Collaboration with stakeholders will be key to aligning our solutions with their business needs.
• Proven ability to design and utilize Cisco and Juniper technologies, producing high and low-level design documents
• Proficient in MPLS, BGP, ISIS, with experience in Juniper SRX, MX, or Cisco equivalents
• Understanding of IPSec, GRE, and hardware encryption
• Expertise with Juniper EX switches and JUNOS, basic Cisco IOS knowledge
• Strong skills in configuring and troubleshooting network devices
• Experience managing projects from requirements to operational acceptance
• Understanding of design impact on Managed Services and SLAs
• Excellent communication skills
