Job summary

A leading IT recruitment consultancy in the UK is seeking a strong Network Architect to work on a hybrid contract basis. The successful candidate will document existing and future applications for cloud connectivity projects, work with stakeholders on service definitions, and participate in daily project stand-ups. Active SC clearance is required, and candidates should be ready to obtain security clearance if not already held. This position offers a chance to work with top-tier cloud services.

Overview

Our client is looking for a strong Network Architect to join their team on a contract initially until the end of March, working hybrid client site in the Southwest. This role has been deemed Inside IR35 and requires someone with an active SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Document the 'as is' and 'to be' for the applications in scope for BMFS cloud connectivity. i.e. The ports, protocols, routers, source destinations, etc).
• Work with project stakeholders to define the service wrap process. This will involve joint discussions with our lead Solution Architect for the project, helping review designs and processes
• Contribute to daily stand-ups specifically scheduled for the Cloud Connectivity project
• Skilled in at least two of the following Cloud Services: Azure, AWS, Oracle

Qualifications / Requirements

• Active SC clearance
• Ability to obtain security clearance prior to appointment (can take up to a minimum 10 weeks)
