We are seeking a Network Architect for a 6-month contract role, inside IR35. The position is remote within the UK. The role involves supporting the TMRF Metal Uplift 2025 program, focusing on core networks, network functions, and endpoint connectivity, providing architectural leadership for modernization and integration efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing architectural guidance and designing solutions across workstreams such as DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM uplift), security functions, and hardware/software integrations.
• Leading design and solution workshops with stakeholders across UK, EMEA, and APAC regions.
• Delivering network architecture artifacts, including high-level and low-level designs.
• Defining and validating test cases for new builds, upgrades, and retirements.
• Overseeing contact center and IVR systems, call recording, load balancer architecture, and ensuring resilience and supportability.
• Collaborating with engineering and operations teams during build, configuration, and testing phases.

Qualifications include:

• 10+ years of network architecture experience in large, regulated enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of core IP networking (routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
• Beneficial experience with telephony and IVR architectures.
• Experience supporting multi-region implementations with high availability and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with resilience frameworks and metal tiering concepts.
• Proven track record in program-led transformation efforts.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and vendor engagement skills.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, scripting (Python, Ansible), and telemetry.
• Understanding of cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure.
