Job description

Capgemini is seeking to recruit a Network Architect with experience in large client outsourcing environments to work within client-facing project teams. The role involves architecting, designing, and implementing robust network solutions, with a focus on teamwork and support across dispersed environments and third-party providers.

Hybrid working: The work location varies between Company offices, client sites, and home, with a mix that adapts to role and needs.

Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks including identity, nationality or immigration status, employment history, and criminal record checks.

Your role

This varied role requires advanced network skills such as:

• Designing technical solutions for network components including cloud services, SDN hardware/software, load balancers, firewalls, proxies, and sizing.
• Innovating and maintaining a view of emerging technologies to enhance service offerings, providing technical strategy and leadership.
• Reviewing client network infrastructures and proposing improvements, managing deadlines, and driving proposals to completion.
• Transforming customer and project specifications into detailed designs and leading implementations.
• Ensuring compliance with change management processes and delivering activities as planned.

Your skills and experience

Expertise in IP, Ethernet, routing, switching within LAN/WAN/Data Centre/Public Cloud, and practical experience with Cisco ACI are essential. Additional experience with SDN, automation tools, security products, VMware NSX, and vendor technologies like Cisco, F5, Fortinet, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud is beneficial.

Your security clearance

This role requires obtaining Security Check (SC) clearance, which involves residency requirements and background checks. Citizenship questions may be asked during recruitment.
