My client, a growing defence consultancy, are looking for a Network Architect and SME, providing expert design and guidance on secure network design, overseeing the design, build, and deployment phases, ensuring best practices are followed.

This role falls OUTSIDE IR35, and is Hybrid, with the office being based in Bristol.

• Develop High-Level Designs and Architecture Overview Documents using leading network technologies.
• Develop Low-Level Designs and Configuration Documents to support build activities.
• You will lead technical solution delivery from design through to implementation.
• Work within a wider project delivery team, engaging in design workshops to support architectural coherence across the project.
• Support and engage with project governance and project management requirements.
• Contribute to the design of appropriate test documentation.

Experience

• Proven experience designing and delivering network solutions in highly secure environments.
• Strong knowledge of network and routing protocols.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and engage with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
