The NetSuite Developer will design solutions for NetSuite environments, responsible for identifying suitable solutions based on business requirements, with deep subject matter expertise to evaluate existing and new technologies for fit within the current architecture.

Primary Role & Responsibilities

1. Maintain knowledge of organizational business plans and processes, especially in Finance and Sales.
2. Provide architectural consulting, guidance, and assistance to analysts, developers, administrators, and other architects.
3. Document and develop in-depth knowledge of the company's existing solution architecture and technology portfolio.
4. Develop, document, and enforce a NetSuite solution architecture, including out-of-the-box and customizations.
5. Develop and communicate plans for NetSuite roadmap, including efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
6. Understand current implementation of integrated systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, and others, and how data flows through them.
7. Develop and execute test plans to validate NetSuite stability and overall architecture, reporting findings and recommendations.
8. Review and approve TDDs for new or updated functionalities.
9. Perform code reviews and approvals for new or updated functionalities.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of application architectures, especially CRM, ERP, and integration tools.
• Experience with NetSuite, Zone Advanced Billing, Salesforce, and Jitterbit.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with REST and SOAP integration platforms, especially Jitterbit Harmony or Celigo.
• Deep knowledge of Revenue Recognition, ARM, Order-to-Cash, General Ledger, Billing, Tax, Pricing, Sales, SuiteBilling, and Products & Work Orders.
• Ability to build and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Strong software evaluation, project planning, and management skills.
• Understanding of data privacy laws and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, IT, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in architecting, implementing, supporting NetSuite solutions.
