Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity following the recent global rollout of NetSuite to unify our regions and improve infrastructure, systems, and processes. Optoma Europe plays a pivotal role in this transformation. We seek a motivated, passionate NetSuite Developer to design and develop software solutions, write well-designed, testable, efficient code, and produce functional designs, specifications, and time estimates.

Our projects vary greatly, requiring adaptability to different environments and languages, with core focus on NetSuite and Boomi.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the primary point of contact for all NetSuite-related matters.
2. Develop software within the NetSuite application.
3. Manage and maintain our NetSuite ERP system, including configuration, customization, and administration.
4. Develop and maintain NetSuite workflows, scripts, and customizations.
5. Develop and maintain our Boomi integration tool.
6. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements.
8. Ensure compliance with NetSuite best practices.
9. Participate in NetSuite project development and implementation.
10. Train and support end-users.
11. Stay updated with new NetSuite features and assess their impact.
12. Work with support teams to resolve bugs and issues.

Candidate Specification

Key Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• Experience developing and maintaining NetSuite SuiteApps.
• Knowledge of creating software solutions from functional specs.
• Proficiency in writing high-quality, efficient, and documented code, following Nolan standards.
• Experience with Boomi.
• Experience testing software, reviewing code, and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to contribute to new practices and improvements.
• Ability to help colleagues learn new features and techniques.
• Stakeholder communication skills to ascertain requirements.
• Ability to document changes, write technical designs, and create release notes.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with latest technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator/Developer.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite ERP system administration, customization, and integration.
• Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Understanding of accounting and financial processes.

Desirable:

• NetSuite Administration knowledge.
• End-to-end knowledge of NetSuite, including implementation experience.
• Integration, customization, and support experience.
• Understanding of JavaScript, PL/SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with Agile frameworks.
• Front-end development with JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React.
• Certifications: NetSuite Suite Cloud Developer II, Administrator, RESTLet, Workflow.
