Job summary

Foxes Club in London is seeking enthusiastic Netball Coaches to launch our Brand-New Netball Fives programme at Avondale Park, starting Sept 4. You will deliver safe, inclusive and fun sessions for ages 6–18, planning activities and keeping players engaged, while also umpiring Fives fixtures when needed and supporting their confidence and social development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead Netball Fives sessions for diverse groups.
• Plan and deliver safe, inclusive, and enjoyable sessions.
• Communicate with parents, players and coaching team.
• Umpire Fives fixtures and support players' confidence and development.

Coaching our new Foxes Netball sessions at Avondale Park, starting on the 4th of Sept.

About Us:

Since 2009, Foxes Club has been creating fun, safe and supportive sporting environments for young people. Players of all abilities train in top-class facilities with qualified, experienced coaches. Our new netball programme brings that same approach to players aged 6–18 — it's about more than the game: we create an atmosphere where fun and learning go hand in hand, building skills, confidence and a lifelong love of the sport.

The Role:

We're looking for enthusiastic coaches to join our team and help deliver exciting Netball Fives sessions in a supportive, energetic environment, while planning and delivering safe, inclusive and enjoyable sessions for individuals and teams of all abilities, preparing players for competition (including umpiring Fives fixtures), and supporting their confidence and personal and social development through sport. You'll also be communicating regularly with parents, players and the wider coaching team.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Proven experience coaching netball to a range of abilities
• Experience working with young people in a sports environment
• Valid Enhanced DBS and safeguarding certificate, or willingness to obtain both before your start date
• First aid qualification
• Enthusiastic, organised and committed to player development
• Available Friday evenings, and open to additional evenings as the programme grows

Desirable:

• UKCC Level 1 Netball Coaching qualification or equivalent
• Experience of playing netball to a good level
