Job summary

Foxes Club in London is launching a brand-new Netball Fives programme and is recruiting Netball Coaches to plan and deliver safe, inclusive sessions for players aged 6–18.

You will work on Friday evenings, with scope to grow, umpire fixtures, support young players’ confidence and development, and join a team of qualified coaches in a supportive, energetic environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coaching netball to varying abilities.
• Experience working with young people in sport.
• Valid Enhanced DBS and safeguarding certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• First aid qualification.
• Enthusiastic, organised and committed to player development.
• Available Friday evenings; may extend to other evenings as the programme grows.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering safe, inclusive and enjoyable netball sessions for individuals and teams of all abilities.
• Preparing players for competition, including umpiring Fives fixtures.
• Supporting players' confidence and personal and social development through sport.
• Communicating regularly with parents, players and the wider coaching team.

Location: Avondale Park

Start date: 4th Sept

Hours: 2 hours per week to start, Friday evenings, with scope to grow

Pay: £35-50 per session

We’re looking for enthusiastic coaches to join our team and help deliver exciting sessions in a supportive, energetic environment.

• Experience working with young people in a sports environment
• Valid Enhanced DBS and safeguarding certificate, or willingness to obtain both before your start date
• First aid qualification
• Enthusiastic, organised and committed to player development
• Available Friday evenings, and open to additional evenings as the programme grows

Desirable

• UKCC Level 1 Netball Coaching qualification or equivalent
• Experience of playing netball to a good level
