Job summary

SSEN Distribution is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Portsmouth/Southampton/Basingstoke region. You will oversee the upgrade and replacement of electricity network infrastructure, ensuring delivery safely, on time and within budget.

Travel across locations is required, with a company car provided where eligible. The role offers flexible working options and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects involving substation works up to 132kV.
• Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Oversee safety, quality, cost and programme for each project.
• Maintain project documentation and contracts in line with SSEN processes.
• Engage with design engineers, field staff, contractors, customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design engineers and investment partners to progress projects.
