Job summary

The Diocese of Carlisle seeks a part-time Net Zero Carbon Officer (Churches and Schools) based at Church House, Penrith, to lead decarbonisation across churches, schools and the wider estate. • Identify, develop and deliver practical decarbonisation and building improvement projects.
• Provide expert guidance on sustainability to churches, schools and diocesan stakeholders.
• Support access to funding opportunities and help build local capacity for care of buildings.
• Collaborate with clergy, PCCs, school leaders, governors, volunteers and advisers.
