Job summary

Storm ID Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking a web developer to join our technical team. You will work with other developers and leads to specify, implement, test and deploy software solutions for diverse clients in a collaborative, hybrid office setting at Leith.

You will grow by contributing to automation scripts, IaC templates, and build/release pipelines, while gaining experience in Azure, AWS, and containerised deployments. A strong focus on secure, reliable delivery drives our work.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a web developer working with production web applications.
• Experience with C# and .NET and cloud-native delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Define features and functionality for client applications with the project team.
• Deliver maintainable solutions using common design patterns.
• Implement reusable components and scripts for development and operations.
• Debug and diagnose issues in applications and cloud infrastructure securely.
• Research and share knowledge of tools to improve build, deploy and maintenance.
• Support other developers with DevOps processes, build scripts, and IaC templates.
• Write and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Produce and maintain documentation for DevOps processes for technical and non-technical audiences.
