Job summary

Syntax Consultancy Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting a .NET/C# developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise Azure Cloud applications in a secure, highly regulated environment. The contract is 3 to 6 months, hybrid in Taunton with occasional travel to the Somerset office, and an immediate start during Summer 2026.

You will participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub workflows.

Qualifications

• Requires Active SC Security Clearance.
• Strong hands-on software development experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience developing applications in Microsoft Azure Cloud environments.
• Experience with Azure PaaS services including App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault.
• Technical skills in C#, .NET, Azure, REST APIs, service integration, and OO design.
• Experience with Git source control and GitHub workflows.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot AI tools to support development.
• Experience in Agile delivery teams.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience maintaining technical documentation in SharePoint, Wiki, Git or similar repositories.

More:

We are offering a 3 to 6 month contract for a .NET Developer based in Taunton, working in a hybrid setup with primarily remote working and travel to our Taunton, Somerset office typically three times per month. This is an opportunity to work with a leading global IT transformation team on a large-scale Government project. The role is outside IR35, paying up to £470 per day, with an immediate start expected during Summer 2026.
