Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing enterprise-grade .NET solutions, ideally including Blazor or MVC webapps.
  • Experience designing data layers from scratch, with good working knowledge of SQL and data modelling.
  • Exposure to Power Platform, Blue Prism, Power BI, or other low/no-code automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD and source control.
  • Ability to lead or support delivery of full-stack solutions across development, automation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and technical coaching or training skills.
  • A collaborative and pragmatic mindset - eager to trial new technologies and approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain secure, scalable .NET web applications using Blazor and MVC architecture.
  • Contribute to greenfield development projects migrating Legacy infrastructure into Azure environments.
  • Implement automation and data solutions using RPA (eg Blue Prism), Power Platform, and Power BI.
  • Champion Agile delivery principles (Scrum/Kanban), using T-shirt sizing, estimation, and collaborative planning.
  • Engage directly with stakeholders to understand requirements, recommend tooling, and drive technical delivery.
  • Provide training and documentation to ensure smooth service transition and adoption across business functions.

Harvey Nash has partnered with a high-profile public sector body delivering regional digital innovation projects across government and public services. As part of their continued investment in automation and cloud transformation, they're looking to bring in a .NET Developer to join a growing multidisciplinary team.

This is a hands-on role focused on building cloud-native tools and bespoke web applications to support business-critical operations. You'll work across greenfield builds, automation tooling, and internal data platforms - all with a clear focus on making meaningful digital change.

What you'll be doing:

Design, build and maintain secure, scalable .NET web applications using Blazor and MVC architecture
