Job summary

Impactive IT is recruiting an experienced .NET Developer to join an international development team with their offices based in Leeds. This will be fully remote with occasional office travel. You must live in the UK to be applicable for this position.

The role focuses on developing and improving existing ASP.NET MVC applications and building modern, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• Experience in C# and .NET in a commercial setting.
• Proficient with ASP.NET MVC and the .NET Framework.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying Azure applications.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Service Bus.
• Familiarity with API development and AI model integration via APIs.
• Proactive approach with ownership and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using C# and modern .NET, including .NET 10.
• Maintain and enhance ASP.NET MVC applications on .NET Framework.
• Build APIs, integrations and workflows using Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Service Bus.
• Troubleshoot issues across existing applications and Azure services.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and progress projects.
• Utilise AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Support AI-enabled applications and model integrations.

The role offers a roughly even split between developing and improving existing ASP.NET MVC applications and building modern, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing applications using C# and modern .NET, including .NET 10
• Maintaining and enhancing ASP.NET MVC applications on .NET Framework
• Building APIs, integrations and workflows using Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Service Bus
• Troubleshooting issues across existing applications and Azure services
• Working with technical teams and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and move projects forward
• Using AI-assisted development tools across coding, testing, debugging and documentation
• Supporting the development of AI-enabled applications and model integrations

What we’re looking for:

• Strong commercial C# and .NET experience
• ASP.NET MVC and .NET Framework experience
• Hands-on experience building and deploying Azure applications
• Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Service Bus
• API development, automated testing and application security
• Experience with AI development tools and integrating AI models through APIs
• A proactive approach with the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions and take ownership
