Job summary

Ballantyne Technology Associates Ltd is seeking a C# Software Developer / .NET Developer to work on modern web applications using ASP.NET Core (.NET 8) in Azure. The role supports remote or hybrid working, with the Bristol area as a coastal hub for optional office attendance.

You will collaborate with product owners, testers and developers to design, build, and maintain high-quality software for enterprise customers, leveraging Azure, SQL Server and modern Microsoft stacks.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience as a C# / .NET Software Developer.
• Strong ASP.NET Core knowledge.
• SQL Server experience.
• Azure exposure.
• Understanding of testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET 8.
• Build and optimise backend services and APIs.
• Work with SQL Server data solutions.
• Collaborate in Agile teams with product managers and QA.
• Participate in code reviews and technical improvements.
• Use Azure and Azure DevOps for cloud deployment and CI/CD.
• Write clean, testable code (unit & integration tests).
