Job summary

Mercury in Coleshill, UK, is seeking a skilled .NET/C# Developer with an interest in expanding into Microsoft Power Platform. You will work across pro-code development and Power Platform, within an Agile team, delivering components across the Mercury technology stack.

You'll develop RESTful APIs, Dynamics solutions, and backend services, collaborate with QAs and Product Owners, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tests, and quality standards. The role offers flexible hybrid work in Coleshill.

Qualifications

• Commercial software development experience using .NET and C#.
• Experience building or consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and clean coding practices.
• Experience with source control and modern development practices.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience with unit testing (MSTest or NUnit).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work across .NET/C# development and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Contribute to Mercury product suite within an Agile team.
• Develop and enhance solutions across Power Platform and .NET/C#.
• Build/Improve Dynamics solutions, web resources, and backend APIs.
• Work with Power Platform tech including Power Automate.
• Create and enhance RESTful web services and APIs.
• Collaborate with Developers, QAs and Product Owners.
• Participate in requirements, solution design, backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Conduct code reviews and promote code quality.
• Operate within CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop understanding of Mercury product suite and propose improvements.
