A leading logistics company seeks an Operations Team Leader in Birmingham. The role involves leading a Co-Pack team to meet KPIs, enhancing customer satisfaction, and managing operational processes. An opportunity has arisen for 1 Operations Team Leaders (Co-Pack) at Hams Hall. The Team Leaders are responsible for leading a team in the Co-Pack area of the operation to successfully achieve targets, KPIs and overall customer satisfaction.
How will you contribute?
· Create specific labels in advance to be verified (A4 and ITF)
· Inbound loads created on Manhattan
· Outbound loads Created on Manhattan
· Liaise with Systems for specific HUs on load & create loading pack (HU labels and load data)
· Oversee loading
· Manually move on EWM as required
· Create Manual sheets for specific pallet rework
· Create and send TUC labels to Tesco QA Barcode team for Customer
· Update process order if necessary & release in EWM
· Print job sheets using spreadsheet tool
· Update and maintain ‘job’ spreadsheet tool regularly
· Check PO on EWM, update if necessary
· Check and update consumption
· Check stock in ‘Damage’ bins
· All above after verifying stock has been set up/stored and labelled correctly
· Manager colleague probation reviews
· Chair Return to Work interviews
· Assist with Training Matrix
· Train on Co-Pack SOPs
· Oversee Co-Pack when necessary
What will you bring?
· To be able to demonstrate the ability to fully utilise and co-ordinate manpower needs
· Must be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and team building skills
· Must be an effective communicator and able to develop good working relationships with all levels of personnel across all teams
· Must be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to raise service levels and ensure clarity of goals
· Applicants should have experience of leading and developing a team of people, with a proven track record for delivering consistently high operational performance. Experience of shared user sites would be an advantage
Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday
