SSE plc in Scotland seeks a NESO Policy Analyst to support regulatory policy analysis and engagement for the NESO interface. You will assess policies and help ensure SSEN Transmission's interests are represented and aligned with NESO's evolving role.
The role requires base in Glasgow or Perth and spending 50% of time in the office, with a permanent, full-time contract and a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office - Glasgow or Perth.
Salary: £36,200 - £54,400 performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

SSEN Transmission owns and operates the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland and plays a vital role in enabling the transition to net zero. As NESO Policy Analyst, you will support our engagement with the NESO providing thorough assessment of polices and ensuring SSEN Transmission’s interests are represented and aligned with NESO’s evolving role and frameworks.
