Job summary

SSEN Transmission owns and operates the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland. We are seeking an NESO Policy Analyst to support our engagement with NESO, providing thorough assessments of policies and ensuring SSEN Transmission’s interests are represented and aligned with NESO’s evolving frameworks.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GB electricity markets and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in policy analysis, regulatory compliance, or energy system operations.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrable skills in collaborating across teams and influencing outcomes.
