Job summary

Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a proactive Housekeeper for the Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment to support high-quality care for sick and preterm newborn babies.

As part of the Neonatal Services team, you will work closely with the Ward Manager and support services to ensure tidiness, stock control, and effective catering and cleaning processes across clinical areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential.
• Flexible approach to different working environments.

Responsibilities

• Catering responsibilities, cleaning and tidying clinical areas.
• Ordering of stores and restocking of consumables.
• Minor maintenance of equipment as directed by shift team.
