A leading UK healthcare trust is seeking a Consultant Neonatologist for a new position within their Neonatal Transport Services. The role involves high-quality service provision, teaching, and coordination of neonatal transfers. Applicants should have a CCT in Paediatrics (Neonatal) or equivalent experience. This position promises engaging clinical work in a supportive environment focused on family-centered care within a top pediatric facility.

The successful applicant should have CCT in Paediatrics (Neonatal) or CCT in Paediatrics with equivalent Neonatal experience. Those within 6 months of obtaining their CCT on the date of the AAC are eligible to apply but must provide evidence of their expected CCT date.
Applications are invited for a new substantive consultant neonatal post at Birmingham Women's & Children's NHS Foundation Trust to work in Neonatal Transport (KIDSNTS) at Birmingham Children's Hospital (7 PAs) and Neonatal Intensive Care at Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals (RWT) (3 PAs). KIDSNTS undertakes approximately 1200 neonatal transfers per year, moving neonates between four NICUs, five LNUs, two SCUs, and two regional specialist hospitals (Birmingham Children's & Alder Hey). The post holder will work with five other WTE consultants to provide consultant cover and develop the service alongside the Paediatric Retrieval service (KIDS).
RWT is one of five NICUs in the West Midlands, providing all levels of neonatal intensive care. The RWT NICU has 26 cots: 7 intensive care (IC), 7 high dependency (HD), 12 special, and 8 transitional care. The service supports a Neonatal Community Outreach Team (NCOT). Three PAs will be delivered at RWT to support the current consultant group. The applicant will provide cover for neonatal intensive care and special care areas on a 1:9 Pro Rata basis.
