A vacancy has arisen for the Neonatal Unit, Kirkcaldy for a full time or part time Band 6 Neonatal Nurse/ Midwife

We are a Level 2 Neonatal Unit, consisting of 4 ITU, 2 High Dependency and 11 Special Care cots.

At present we have 4 qualified Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in post and 2 Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioners.

We are a forward thinking unit looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team

You must possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work within the team as well as on your own initiative.

You will be expected to deliver a high standard of care and use a holistic approach to family centred care.

An up to date knowledge of evidence based practise and a commitment to the delivery of clinically effective care within neonates is essential.

You will have a recognised neonatal qualification and experience working within a neonatal unit

Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours if applicable.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
