Job summary

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Registered Band 5 Neonatal Nurse for a fixed-term maternity leave cover in the Neonatal Unit. You will provide compassionate, family-centred care to premature and ill newborns in Special Care, High Dependency, and Intensive Care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain high professional standards, and develop leadership and clinical skills throughout the fixed-term period.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC registration and current nursing pin.
• Specialist neonatal care knowledge advantageous.
• Commitment to family-centred care and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for premature and ill newborns.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and support families in the unit.
• Uphold NMC Code and Trust policies while developing clinical leadership skills.
