Overview

Neighbourhood Staff Nurse (Experienced). This advert is open to all applicants with an active Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you have a PRN number only, please do not apply. In-person interviews are required. Closing Date: 28 September 2025 at Midnight. Proposed Interview Date: week starting 13 October 2025.

We are currently looking for nurses to join our Neighbourhood Nursing teams across Lambeth and Southwark. We are proud that we care for our staff as much as our patients. Main duties of the job
  • The post-holder will be a member of the Neighbourhood Nursing (District Nursing) Team and will participate in the clinical case management of patients with a wide variety of complex, high-risk and supported/self-care conditions.
  • Work with the Team Leader to ensure the provision of high-quality nursing care and health promotion in settings including patients\' homes, residential homes, nurse-led clinics, and GP practices.
  • Holistic assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans for patients with long-term conditions, tissue viability, continence, palliative care, and promoting patient independence.
  • Assist in the delivery of National Service Frameworks.
  • Provide public health and health promotion programmes to improve health and reduce inequalities.
  • Maintain contemporaneous written and computerised records.
