Job summary

Flagship Services is seeking a dedicated Neighbourhood Cleaner to maintain clean and welcoming communal spaces across multiple sites in East and Central England. This permanent, full-time role includes a company van and the chance to work as part of a supportive team delivering high service standards.

You'll hoover and mop communal areas, handle dusting, litter picking, and ensure health and safety procedures are followed, with driving duties included.

We're looking for a dedicated and proactive Neighbourhood Cleaner to help maintain our neighbourhoods and communal spaces to a high standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work and is passionate about delivering excellent service to customers.

Reporting to the Neighbourhood Services Manager (Cleaning), you'll play a key role in ensuring the places our customers call home remain clean, tidy, and welcoming.

Location: the role covers Bury St Edmunds, Attleborough, Thetford, Sudbury, Cambridge, Mildenhall, Brandon, and surrounding areas.

Hours: Full Time - 37 hpw - Monday to Thursday 06:30-14:30, Friday 06:30-14:00

Contract: Permanent + Company Van

What You'll Be Doing

As a Neighbourhood Cleaner, you'll carry out a range of cleaning and maintenance activities, including:

• hoovering and mopping communal areas
• high and low-level dusting
• litter picking and site tidying
• ensuring cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• taking responsibility for cleaning equipment and its safe use
• following health and safety procedures at all times
• working collaboratively within a customer-focused team
• helping us deliver value for money by working efficiently and effectively

What You'll Bring

We're seeking someone who:

• has experience within the cleaning industry
• can operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• holds a full UK driving licence
• has good communication and problem-solving skills
• is comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Teams
• takes a proactive approach to their work
• works well both independently and as part of a team
• is committed to delivering excellent standards of service
