Job summary

Sainsbury's in London is recruiting an Associate Analyst to join the Data & Analytics team, working with Nectar360 and Sainsbury's to drive media and consultancy insights for FMCG clients. You will analyse Nectar and supplier data, build dashboards in Tableau, deliver end-to-end projects using SQL, and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

The role offers hybrid working with about one day in the London office and occasional travel to client sites, with a strong emphasis on turning

Qualifications

• Technical confidence and statistical understanding to manipulate datasets using Excel and SQL, R or Python.
• Experience of BI tools (Tableau or Business Objects) and AWS/Snowflake would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse Nectar, Sainsbury's and supplier data to understand customer behaviour and generate insights.
• Deliver end-to-end analytical projects using SQL on large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Develop SQL solutions and tackle questions across topics like journeys, segmentation, promotions.
• Create PowerPoint reports and Tableau dashboards for stakeholders and present findings clearly.
